This Privacy Policy explains how Halal SuperApp collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services. Halal SuperApp is operated by 1509752 B.C. LTD.
1. Who we are
Halal SuperApp is a community and discovery platform designed to help Muslims access faith tools, discover halal businesses and masjids, and connect with useful local information.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Listing information such as a business name, address, phone number, images, and description.
- Community content such as posts, questions, and comments.
- Information submitted through support requests, including your name, email address, topic, and message.
- Images and product details you choose to submit to the Food Scanner or other app features.
- Payment information processed by Stripe. Halal SuperApp does not store your payment-card details.
Information collected automatically
- A random or anonymous session identifier used to operate app features.
- Approximate or precise location, with your permission, for prayer times, Qibla direction, and nearby discovery.
- Device, operating-system, app-version, language, and diagnostic information.
- Crash and performance data when diagnostic services are enabled.
Device permissions
The app may request access to location, camera, microphone, photos, or notifications only when needed for a feature you choose to use. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve app features, calculate prayer times and Qibla direction, return nearby results, display listings and community content, process Food Scanner requests and listing-upgrade payments, send notifications you enable, respond to support and privacy requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems.
4. How we share information
We use Stripe for payment processing, Firebase and Google services for authentication, databases and storage, and Sentry for crash reporting when you opt in to diagnostics. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the public, or in connection with a business transfer.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
5. Public and third-party information
Business, masjid, event, or other listing information may come from public sources, community submissions, or listing owners. External links open services operated by third parties, and their privacy practices apply after you leave Halal SuperApp.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You can decline optional permissions, change them in your device settings, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
Halal SuperApp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. We will publish the updated policy on this page and revise the date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
